2008 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy is adopted by the Genesee/Finger Lakes Regional Planning Council at it Annual Meeting.

 

Western Erie Canal Main Street Program.  The Genesee/Finger Lakes Regional Planning Council is serving as the Western Erie Canal Main Street Program Coordinator.

 

Multi-Jurisdictional All-Hazard Mitigation Plans Approved By FEMAGenesee, Livingston, Orleans, Wayne and Wyoming Counties Plans approved by FEMA.  $948,000 awarded to Village of Wolcott for implementation of the Wayne County Plan.

Kuhl Announces $3 Million in Federal Funding for Infotonics Commercialization Center, Genesee/Finger Lakes Regional Planning Council Assists Ontario County and Infotonics in securing funding through Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy and Economic Development District program.
