Monroe County Street Centerline Enhancement
Objective
To efficiently and cost effectively maintain and enhance the regional GIS base map used my GIS Staff and Monroe County and to ensure that a quality street centerline GIS base map is available and maintained on a timely basis.
Process
Enhance and correct the regional GIS base map on behalf of, and according to specifications established by GTC, Monroe County and RGRTA.
Phase I
- Enhance and rectify the street centerline GIS files for Monroe County.
Phase II
- Finish the street centerline rectification
- verify and enhance the address ranges associated with the streets.
Products
1. Improved street centerline digital GIS base map with corrected address ranges (to be maintained at a central location and used as a common base map by multiple agencies)
2. Accessible and distributable data that can be shared with GTC member agencies and with the New York State Data Sharing Cooperative.
